Anureet is a graduate of Vancouver Career College. She made a switch in her career and entered health care after moving to British Columbia in 2019. She enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, from office workers to geriatric, and prenatal to post pregnancy. Being a compassionate human being and a good listener, her belief is “better the assessment better will be the treatment result”. She utilizes the combination of Swedish and Non-Swedish massage techniques during treatment along with homecare plan consisting of stretching and strengthening to help patients achieve their goals. Nafeez Syed is a senior musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapist with over 20 years of experience. Nafeez pursued his Ph.D. from The University of British Columbia, further enhancing his knowledge and skills in physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Nafeez is a certified Gunn IntraMuscular Stimulation (IMS) provider and uses this skill to treat his patients with low back pain, neck pain, shoulder, hip, and knee issues. He is also a Level 2 Advanced Vestibular & Concussion Therapist certified by the American Institute of Balance and specializes in vertigo, BPPV, concussion due to sport, or MVA.

Nafeez also uses Radial Shockwave Therapy, LASER Therapy, Myofascial Mobilization, and Mulligan Manual Mobilization Therapy of the cervical spine and upper extremities along with taping and foot orthotics to help his clients with sport or worksite injury or someone in chronic pain post-injury and motor vehicle accident.

Nafeez has successfully completed all 4 levels of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) from Robin McKenzie Institute to treat spine and extremities and will soon be a “Certified MDT Therapist” to join the guild of the few MDT practitioners in Lower Mainland.

Nafeez is also pursuing his Fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT).
